June 16th, 2025 - 94th Email - Currently companionless

 Hey

Ok so this week was wild and you are not prepared for this lore dump

Alright lets do some research in my schedule that we totally reported really well

Monday evening we revisited some people we tracted. None of them were interested lul

Then visited a referral and she was cool but didnt answer the door at her return appt bruv

Chewsday was weird so we did an exchange with the rialto 3rd ward elders and rhey on bike but lucky for me i didnt have to go on bike this time good thing too cuz it was a gazillion degrees kelvin outside and elder strong was beet red when he came home and was pretty much asleep almost instantly but i was chillin in da car with elder ploeger so we were nice to em and drove em to dinner we ate at a burgar place down in colton was pretty chill but the burga was so big i couldnt finish it definitely top 10 burgs ive ever eaten tho

Had some good lessons, funny thing happened while we were tracting a guy rides by on a scooter and elder plunger goes "ay u want to get baptized" and bro goes like "huh" in the most memey way possible and then plogmeger is again like "yo wanna get baptized" and bro is like i already am and keeps going and so at this point elder pogger is like dang that works sometimes so we knock the next house and then we turn around and get completely jumpscared by this guy and we're left utterly flummoxed but he came back and was like ayo sorry i just wanna say im already baptized and we're like ok dope u wanna learn about our church and hes like yeah thats cool and we talked to him for a solid while cool kid bro was like 17 but he looked 25 idk if thats a good thing but it was surprising

Anyway

Wensday we were bored in the evening so we went tracting some apartments cuz thats the natural progression so we knock a house and this ladys like om gosh yes come talk to me and we talked to her and somehow got in a full restoration and she was like so eatin it up until we asked u wanna come to church and ladys like "nah lol" so uh yeah was chill tho

Lowkey something ive been tryna do is use da book of mormon more in my teaching bucuz we gots lots of pppl that already know all the lessons lol so i was like aight wanna just read the book of mormon and thats getting everyone to open up to us a lot more and we be makin frends big time especially with recent converts who we just dont know what to teach lol

Throwsday we were tryna get in contact with the stake presidency because apparently there was a stake recent convert temple trip that our bishop knew nothing about and as far as the zl's were concerned it was still happening but we only told one recent convert lol (oscar) so we were like yeah we dk the deets but pull up to the temple thirsday at 6 pm therell be people there most likely and he was like yeah idk i havent heard anything about it so we call the bishop and hes like yeah this is the first ive heard of it so at this point im trippin like weve known about this trip for like a month and as it turned out oscar is a dawg (like he barks and stuff) because he went to the temple on his own not knowing if people would be there and all the recent converts in the stake bailed on him except the first counselor in the stake presidency was there and guided him around and he absolutely loved it if only we coulda gone tho rip

Also so at like 8 pm we were supposed to meet a referral lady and we pull up to her apartment complex but we cant get thru the gate bro told us the gate code and we tried it on the like 3 keypads next to the gate and it didnt work at all and then finally we give up and just call her to let us in and she comes out and is like wut the code dint work and we like nah dawg and so she types in the code and it WORKS like literal witchcraft or something and we just cannot believe what we are seeing like does it require a magic touch or what like bruddah so we're like aight and forgot about the whole situation and they were super cool from peru and they had been to our church before and they were really happy when i said id been to peru before and yeag

Friday we deep cleaned our apartment (lemme tell ya it needed cleaning) it was more a throw stuff out kinda cleaning tho

But it was also lowkey kinda a weird day

So because of political junk going on they canceled our fathers day activity in our ward which was sad but they also moved the cleaning of the church to friday evening (instead of saturday morning) and oscar was gonna come tracting with us at the exact time they moved church cleaning so we helped clean the church and dint do any tracting lol

BUT we tried again on saturday and we tracted with oscar at 2 pm and it was chill

Then we tracted with an hermana in the ward later in the evening and she was sayin how ppl arent opening the dore because of immigration which is kinda wild because like

We're just regular dudes

But ok

We got a referral from missionaries in fontana that was completely and definitely not interested in coming to church at all

Oh yeah

I forgot to mention

So elder strong went home

(Currently companionless)

He had a little

Medical emergency

So as punishment for needing surgery hes going to go get surgery

We drove him to the ontario airport at 7:30 in the am and i got stuck with the willow branch elders (i was with elder luna again)

Elder strong is now chilling with his family as i am typing this

So basically our sacrament attendance was really low like in general like we had half the usual attendance so something ive been tryna stress in my friends is that u gotta have faith that u will b fine if u go 2 church but obviously ultimately in the end its their decision

I also got to go to the willow branch sacrament which also had low attendance but somehow not as bad as i was expecting considering theyre like

A branch

And im serving in

A ward

But its aight

(They also didnt cancel their fathers day activity so im a little jealous about that)

But fathers day was great got to talk to my fam and update them on all this lore going on but basically at about 4 i dipped on luna and flores lol and went with elders carwin and nelson because our dinners were at the same time so for the rest of the evening i was chillin with english missionaries and it was fun

That was pretty much my week hope u enjoyed reading but transfers are this week and im going into my last one so we'll see what happens

June 9th, 2025 - 93rd Email - Hangin out

Ok weekly email for the week of june 2-8 (mostly for myself to keep track)

How are you guys doing

So time sure is flying by isnt it wild that its already june

Yeah thats pretty crazy

So uh

Yeah

We started off our week by going tracting you know as you do knocking complete strangers doors and found a couple people to teach but they didnt end up ever responding again which is slightly depressing but its chill

On tuesday we had ur average mornin and then we had english class in the evening where tons of peeps showed up it was a good turnout

On wednesday we got a referral from a lady who said she didnt want to go to any church but still wanted a bible study so we just told her aight thats confusing but then she proceeded to never send us her address and we never had the study lol

We also had president interviews and president was an hour behind lol so we just waited for a while until he got to us

I dont want to get into the details but after interviews there was some drama that went down in our zone and like the entire zone got absolutely trolled because everyone thought elder luna went home lol but then he showed up on saturday to our zone service but they played us good bro even posted on his story a picture from a plane with a scripture on it and put a video of him at the airport on his google photos like 3 companionships were in on it and made up an entire story but we were all like freaking out but turns out bro is chillin

Thursday was normal just contacted people

Friday we had the king elder smith come with us it was pretty chill, we went public contacting in front of el super and then we went tracting and it was pretty fun

Saturday we woke up at 5 am  the zone had a big service we did where we helped out handing out water at a race and we had to get there early becuz the weather was still good but it really sucked so afterwards we went back home and took a nap lol

They also gave us some breakfast just cereal and muffins nothin crazy

Elder strong also had a headache that afternoon and then the rest of the day was pretty normal

Sunday had church was cool we just had our fam of 3 pull up

So basically everybody is afraid to leave their houses now because theyre afraid of getting deported but its ok because they like us but it was sad because that meant we couldnt get any friends to go to a fireside in redlands and that meant that we werent able to go which was depressing but we went to a baptism for another companionship so baptisms are always cool

But also because ppl were scared obispo had to get us to give talks in church and i talked about charity so that was chill

Aight that was basically my week lol luv u guys also transfers end next week and ill be on my last one

June 2nd, 2025 - 92nd Email - Probably my shortest email lol

 Hey

Not a super eventful week, we had a lesson monday evening, then tuesday we had to go to pepboys to fix our car so that was interesting and then we went to wendys so that was fun

Also had english class and there was an insane turnout lots of friends that came so that was super fun

Wednesday we exchanged. I went with elder luna on bike after going on a bike exchange in the same area the previous friday but we had fun it was a good exchange, they got a new bike that didnt hurt as bad (their previous bike was COOKED) although luna's bike did break and we had to get picked up so he could fix it and get a new one from the elders in redlands that are in charge of them (that was a funny night lol we just walked our bikes around)

It was also a pretty productive day back in our area too they got a baptismal interview done and did some really good lessons and went knocking doors and stuff

Friday we exchanged again with the colton ward missionaries was a good exchange just went contacting most of the day I was with elder mcphie

Saturday was cool had good lessons and got our friends Marco and susana ready for their baptism and everything was getting set up really well

Church was good and then we chilled and we had our baptism and it was a really quite asome and amazing baptism Marco and Susana are super happy and they were just ready from the get go so shoutout to them

Ok thats literally it idk what else happened my memory is wiped

May 26th, 2025- 91st. Email - Funny fun times

 Hey

So this is kinda goofy but the last email I sent was actually for the week of May 12 and not the week of may 2 because may 2 was not only not a monday but it was also before transfers so im just hecka trippin (i was probably looking at a june calendar because june 2 is a monday)

So to clear things up

This email is for the week of may 19

Ok no confusion

Great

(i still need to write an email for the week of may 26 so im writing this email with tons of hindsight but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it)

We started off the week strong with our friends telling us they wanted to postpone their baptism and i had spamming keyboard sound effects going off in my head but it was ok because they were super solid and are getting baptized only one week later than initially planned and it was actually better for them they were able to understand a lot better what they were doin so we soups excited for them

Tuesday was a crazy day

So we start off in the morning by going to redlands for a doctor's appointment for elder strong because he has some... uh... medical stuff that i dont want to get into but we kept forgetting to go to the doctor because the lady he wanted to see was only there on tuesdays so we finally just went and we got interesting news which meant elder strong is actually going to have to go home to get surgery and as of the time i am writing this email i know when hes going home but for like over a week we had no idea when it would be and the mission nurse guy freaked us out saying he would probably go home within the week (and obviously that did not happen) but president was adamant about keeping strong out as long as possible before his surgery

Then we wanted to exchange with one of the zone leaders but they took absolutely forever to get done with whatever he and his companion were doing so the other zone leader and his companion came over and we went and got pollo loco because we have like $200 in pollo loco gift cards in our car but we exchanged at like 6 and it was good and chill i went to the english area with elder baldwin (not the zone leader) and we tracted a bit

Wednesday we met a guy that was from mexico but lived in hawaii for like 10 years before the fires and stuff so that was interesting

Rest of the day was just contacting like nobody answered us

Thursday was zone conference, it was a good one, it was President Pinnock's last one as our mission president as he will be dipping formally on june 24th and being replaced by president oligschlaeger and you better believe i spelled that correctly

Learned a lot about following the Spirit and testifying of what we know

Friday was weird we did a whole zone wide exchange where they picked us to go with random people but for some reason elder luna made it a whole slideshow where he used ai to make us all look like an anime intro it was funny as heck though

I went with elder flores who is the other zone leader but hes on bike which sucks for him because as zone leader he needs to stop to answer lots of calls and texts and also for me apparently because i got the crappy bike it wasnt like really bad at first but by the end of the day the seat was so hard and it like stuck out a bit upwards and it hurt like crazy and we were boutta bike uphill and i was like bruh i cant do this anymore and elder flores was like ok we'll trade but he got on the bike himself and was like ok i can see why you hate this bike so we just called someone to pick us up lol

Luckily they got a new bike because that bike actually broke the next day and the new bike they got is wayyyy better

Theres also been like hecka drama for whatever reason in the zone but i wont bore you guys with all that

Saturday we had a kid from redlands come out with us to do missionary work, it was really fun actually hes a good guy his name was Craig and hes hispanic so he kept up a little bit with our spanish hes planning on serving a mission, we mostly just tracted but at the end we had a really good lesson and he enjoyed it a lot so if u want to serve a mission def go out with missionaries its pretty fun

But he left at like 4 so the rest of the day it was back to just us lol

Then we went to a friends house at like 6 to attend her sons birthday party it was pretty sick had some fire quesadillas

Sunday we had church

(We forgot to report the evening but dont worry we're getting better at that)

Ok so thats pretty much my week, i think by like thursday or friday we realized strong wasnt actually gonna go home the next monday, but the entire time it was like well uh whens it gonna be type beat and i was lowkey stressin because if he left then id have to lead out the area and idk who my companion would be but rest assured u guys that everything is fine now
